Minutes later, he came back to my office hugely apologetic to which I again, gave him very little. I simply said 'ok, yep, alright. Don't worry about it' and carried on with my job...and in the afternoon, he called me again and apologised some more. That second apology really hit home for me because I'm not used to people going out of their way to correct a mishap, so I really gave him my forgiveness that second time round. He even said I was being very, very strong to take what he'd done to me and I simply said 'yeah, I know. I know. I have to be, otherwise we're all going to crash and burn. Someones gotta keep it together' so we both know now, regardless of whatever crap arises during work, I will deliver on getting the job done with the best results possible. Business is business and the show must go on.
